A baby does change everything, but this baby really did change everything. EVERYTHING!

Faith Hill sings about this in her song, A Baby Changes Everything:

Teenage girl, much too young
Unprepared for what’s to come
A baby changes everything
Not a ring on her hand
All her dreams and all her plans
A baby changes everything
A baby changes everything
The man she loves she’s never touched
How will she keep his trust?
A baby changes everything
A baby changes everything
She has to leave, go far away
Heaven knows she can’t stay
A baby changes everything
She can feel He’s coming soon
There’s no place, there’s no room
A baby changes everything
A baby changes everything
We feel indebted to people who risk their lives for us or who have impacted us in great ways. Hence, those who have been instrumental in changing the course of our lives. And we commit ourselves to showing absolute gratitude.
Well, there is ONE person who has done more for us than anyone else. Because of His sacrifice, our lives have changed.
I mean… REALLY changed.
When He came to this earth, He brought with Him freedom, forgiveness, everlasting love, and a new way. And then He left HIS Spirit to live inside us.
Now, that’s what I call love!
But the sad reality is that many of us take all these things for granted. We move through this life hardly giving any thought about that little baby in a manger – that baby who rocked this world.
And rocked our world.
My challenge to you today, and to me, is to reflect on all these things during this Christmas season and to commit ourselves to living for HIM in complete gratitude. Read and reread the Christmas story. And then write down how it’s changed your life. Something tells me that this will give us a new perspective as we enter into a new year. Let this be a brand new commitment.
Let’s show JESUS how grateful we are for what He’s done for us.

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Luke 2:11

Have a blessed Christmas,
